SPRITE makes the cover of the January 2014 issue of SERVO magazine!

Thursday, December 19th, 2013

Go buy a copy of servo (or better yet, subscribe to Servo) so you can read my article. Servo has other great articles too, it is one of my favorite magazines.

The digital edition came out two days earlier than I expected, so I have not had a chance to complete the page for SPRITE on this site.

Stay tuned, I expect to finish that page before 6pm Pacific today.

Raspberry Pi

Wednesday, October 30th, 2013

I managed to buy my first Raspberry Pi’s in early January – element14 in Canada finally got some stock then.

It’s a great little computer! After a little googling for prototyping boards, I found Dr. Monk’s review Pi prototyping boards, and I bought some. My favourite was the Adafruit one.

Browsing the web – especially media and javascript rich pages – can be painfully slow compared to my main computers… but really, what kind of performance can you expect for $35?

Recently I picked up the new revision of the GertBoard, a Pi camera, and some other goodies.

I’ll be writing more about the Pi in the future.

Morpheus SVGA Demo now uploaded to my YouTube channel!

Friday, August 23rd, 2013

Here is a YouTube video showing the Morpheus SVGA Demo (800×600, 4 colors per pixel from a 256 color palette)

You should view it at 1080p or at least 720p for best results.

You can find the product page for Morpheus towards the top of the navigation bar on the left.

I will be updating the product page with information on the new rev2.0 Morpheus pcb’s!
