RoboPi User Manual v0.51

Saturday, March 29th, 2014

I’ve uploaded a new revision of the RoboPi User Manual.

This version adds more sample code, explanation of the PWM calls, and how to use a Sharp IR distance sensor.

You can find it on the RoboPi product page, towards the bottom of the page.

I’ve uploaded the initial RoboPiLib to the RoboPi product page

Monday, March 24th, 2014

This is the initial version of the library, and will be expanded over time. I intend to release the source code after I’ve cleaned it up and added more error checking and comments :)

You need to have the RoboPi firmware installed on RoboPi in order for the library to work.

There is also an early version of the RoboPi user manual on the product page.

I will keep updating the documentation, library and add demo programs.

Coming soon: videos of my RoboPi based robots!

I added a photo of my 2WD RoboPi test bed to the product page – sorry about the lower pic quality, had to use my backup camera as I forgot to charge some batteries.

I also added some more downloads to the RoboPi product page over the last few days. More coming soon!

Pi Jumper is now shipping!

Friday, March 7th, 2014

I’ll add photos of the production boards soon. The only difference is the addition of a resitor + LED to indicate that the on-board 3v3 voltage regulator is providing power.

Pi Jumper is only $8.95 USD + s/h for the best breadboard breakout (and much more!) for the Raspberry Pi!

I also recently added

  • RoboPi Build Manual PDF
  • RoboPi Spin API v1.0 PDF

to the Downloads section of the RoboPi page
