For those of you not familiar with RoboPi, it is an advanced robot controller with eight analog inputs, and 24 flexible digital I/O’s

Each flexible I/O can be configured from the RoboPi API as:

  • digital input
  • digital output
  • servo output
  • pwm output
  • ultrasonic range sensor input

RoboPi only uses three of the GPIO pins to communicate with Raspberry Pi:   RX, TX and GPIO#17

RoboPi is now supported on Raspberry Pi Models A / A+ / B / B+ / 2 B

All of the above platforms support the C/C++ RoboPi API, and all except the MIPS Creator CI20 support the Python API.

ODROID-C1 is now a supported RoboPi platform

Thursday, February 5th, 2015

Single Board Computers have been adopting the Raspberry Pi GPIO connector pin out – first with the 2×13 26 pin GPIO header of the original Model A & B, then with the 2×20 40 pin GPIO header of the Model A+, B+, and now Raspberry Pi 2 Model B.

I am pleased to add the Hardkernel ODROID-C1 to the list of single board computers supported by RoboPi and its easy to use libraries.
